Dr. Badran holds a BA in Archaeology/University of Jordan and an MA and PhD in museum studies/Newcastle University, UK. She worked as Lecturer in Museums at the Hashemite University, contributing to developing the first degree in CRM & museology in the Middle East.
She also worked as a consultant on heritage education projects and a trainer in Museum Studies in the Arab region. She served as acting director and course tutor for the MA International Cultural Heritage Management at Durham University, as well as research associate on the AHRC funded project, Learning from Multicultural Amman: Engaging Jordan’s Youth. She is currently an independent researcher and consultant in museums and heritage.
