Dr Arwa Badran currently serves as a researcher at Durham University on engaging the youth in museums. After completing her BA in Archaeology at the University of Jordan, Arwa worked as a field archaeologist for a few years before pursing higher education in museum studies at Newcastle University, where she read for an MA on building connections between museums and the public and later a PhD on the introduction of museums in school curricula.

Dr. Gaetano Palumbo is a conservation and site management planning expert. He was Program Director at the World Monuments Fund and Project Specialist at the Getty Conservation Institute and has consulted for various organizations, including ICCROM, ICOMOS, UNESCO and the World Bank, as well as national institutions in the region on projects concerning the conservation and management planning of archaeological sites.

Dr Gretchen Larsen is an expert in arts marketing and consumption. Her research has been published in books and leading academics journals. She also teaches arts, heritage and tourism marketing at Durham University (United Kingdom), where she is an Associate Professor.

Barbara Henry, Principal, Barbara Henry & Associates, has more than 25 years of experience expanding museum audiences through dynamic public engagement initiatives and education programming. As Chief Curator of Education at the Oakland Museum of California, she directed an Education Department nationally acclaimed for its exemplary programs in engaging diverse communities.

Stephanie Weaver worked in museum education, interpretation, and visitor services for more than 30 years. Her book Creating Great Visitor Experiences: A Guide for Museums, Parks, Zoos, Gardens, and Libraries has been in print since 2007 and has been taught in multiple graduate programs in museum studies.
